Payment Issues

We understand your concerns about the impact the Coronavirus is having on all our lives. Now, more than ever, it is important to prioritize the health and well-being of our communities.
In March, the Wheat Ridge Water District temporarily stopped water shut-offs due to delinquent payments.  However, we are unlikely to be able to do that forever.

If you have a past due balance, please contact us about arranging a payment plan to gradually bring your account current. Together, we can work to help you pay what you can over time, in addition to your current usage charges.  The payment plan will be adjusted to your economic circumstances.  

As a reminder, bills for water use are tied to the property. If a tenant does not pay the bill, the property owner is ultimately responsible, for charges left outstanding.

It is important to keep your balance manageable, and to avoid late fees and shut-offs before they occur, please contact our office  to inquire about setting up a Pay Plan.
